Inside and outside today. Putting it all into context.

Today was the last day of my working on the 'winter module' of the Advanced Outdoor Learning Course at West Highland College. It has been a great module and the students have been amazing to coach, instruct, teach and just be with! Today was a day where all their learning came together and it was time for the students to run a climbing wall session and lead a ramble outside and of course inspire some primary children in the process. It is never easy running a session and especially for the first time ever! Well done to the students you did the course proud.

'I've got it!' Yes!

It's not all about the hardest or the biggest or the scariest! But one day one of these youngsters might just do the biggest, the hardest?

It has been a great few months of work, summer hill walking, winter skills training, indoor and outdoor rock climbing and the fantastic expedition in Knoydart and residential in Aviemore. Thanks to all the students and I wish you all the best for your next adventures and work placements in the summer. And of course a happy future in the best industry and job in the world, the outdoors!
