Roses Project Residential on Mull and mixed weather in Glencoe.

It has been another interesting week of work with Hebridean Pursuits out on Mull and in Glencoe.

We were running a residential at Tavool House Outdoor Centre for a group of very young, young carers from Edinburgh.

The young people totally put one hundred percent into their time on Mull. But most importantly they were able to relax. Tavool House and the environment around it enables respite unlike anywhere else. The four days were a challenging mix of personal and group activities. A powerful experience for all involved.

On Friday we were guiding a group from a community school from Peterbourough on Buachaille Etive Mor in Glencoe. The weather was unseasonal but the young pupils and their staff dug deep to reach the summit in the very windy and wet conditions.

We are out again tomorrow guiding on Ben Nevis and with the weather looking better the group should have a great day out in the mountains.

Rock Climbing on Mull.

Working on Mull which is always exciting and varied. We had an awesome week with a group of young people from Fort William Fusion Caol project.

During the week myself and one of our instructors James headed to the beautiful pink granite of Fidden on the Ross of Mull. A sunny warm evening, a super low tide and perfect hand jamming all added up to a marvellous climbing experience.

Working hard and playing hard is the Hebridean Pursuits experience.

A catch up of recent courses and adventures with Hebridean Pursuits.

We have been involved in a variety and varied outdoor adventure work this week.

Technical Advice work in the mountains on rock climbs in Glencoe and in the River Turk.

Working on a Roses Project Residential at Tavool House Outdoor Centre on Mull with young people from Fort William Youth Development Project.

We also ran a three day Summer Mountain Leader training refresher course in the Black Mount and in Glencoe for Richard who is due to take his assesment very soon.

Never a dull moment working with Hebridean Pursuits!
