Dunollie House Historic Tours. A lovely day in Oban. Hebridean Pursuits have teamed up with Dunollie Castle Museum and House. www.dunollie.org to guide visitors on local historic walks in the Oban area. The walks will take place throughout the summer and dates can be found on the website above. Today Iain and Fiona were experiencing the fascinating Clan history of the MacDougalls, Robert the Bruce and latterly the Campbells at both Dunollie and Dunstaffnage Castles on a scenic circular walk along the coastline and in the small hills above Ganavan Bay. We were also privileged to have a private viewing of the the newly refurbished tower at Dunstaffnage. This is where The Clan chief of the Campbell's was obliged to sleep for one night a year for it to remain in the clan's possession! check out www.dunollie.org for more dates through the summer. Images of the last week working outside in Scotland for Hebridean Pursuits.
Stirlingshire, Oban and Kerrera all were venues for Hebridean Pursuits, Coffee and Climbing, Coasteering, Canyoning Instruction, Open Boat expedition and a few hills in Perthshire thrown in. Another stunning week of spring weather for working in. There is no where finer at this time of the year or at any other time of the year either!

Springtime on Kerrera, in Perthshire and on Mull at Tavool House.
Early May has been rather beautiful here is Scotland and working outside has been very varied. The longer nights and warm dry days have made the wild winter seem a long way off. Long may it last!
