Climbing on North Buttress of The Buachaille today.

Today we were climbing on the iconic Buachaille Etive Mor in Glencoe. Steve and I ascended North Buttress and then followed the spring snow along the summit ridge. We managed to climb and walk in the glourious warm sunshine all day. There is still alot of snow in the gullies which may catch to unsupecting walker out, escpecially on descent as it was very sugary and soft. There is a cold blast of snow forcast at the end of the week and what snow is left will consolidate giving firm alpine conditions well into May.
